Illia is a Procedural Technical Artist, Environment Generalist TD and an Indie Game Dev enthusiast with a passion for real-time, games and animation. He's a former senior full-stack UX R&D software engineer, tech lead, and project lead (non-VFX, C# & JavaScript) with a decade of experience switching to VFX after working on personal indie game projects. Since then, he's been advancing artistic & technical skills for the last 7 years working as a Techincal CG Generalist on feature films (Weta Digital), Netfilx animation, small VR projects, and AAA game cinematics primarily relying on Houdini (including USD Solaris workflow), Substance and Unreal Engine among many other tools required by various film & interactive projects.
Illia has also got team-leading experience and is a co-founder of First Iteration, an emerging indie game development studio that aspires to blend the boundaries between art and technology.
